90 Degrees

"Good but too basic"

submission: 90 Degrees
date: August 16, 2009

The game had an overall alright concept but you didn't give it anything to live off. It would've being much better if you put the time to make better graphics, with a background of some kind and some music. Also the platform speed was way too slow and just added to the dullness of the game, if you had the ability to modify the speeds of the ball and platform it would've made it more exciting.

Dimlight

"Boring."

submission: Dimlight
date: July 16, 2009

The animation was good but I felt that this was incredibly bland and unfunny. Not one through this entire movie did I so much as smile and I usually laugh insanely at these Twilight parodies but this was very disappointing and could've been done much better.

-8bit Clouds- Collab

"All round quality"

date: June 26, 2009

Graphics:
Every member of the collab contributed a high quality animation that was in a great pixel style of game. There is nothing that I could possibly find wrong about this movie.

Gameplay:
I liked the minigame in the preloader so much that I couldn't help but complement it. The game was as funny as the clip especially how the clouds tried to run away from you. I also got a chuckle out of the achievement I got from it.

Sound:
The loop was somewhat catchy and gave the pixelated feel to the collab which I really liked. You couldn't have gotten a better choice for this collab.

Originality:
Everyone contributed a clever animation to this collab and I really loved it. This is a unique flash that people can't help but love.

Overall:
This was a great collab that included two games, although one was much better than the other it was really good. This collab had everything in it that makes a good Flash, and collab.

DANCE!!

"Simple yet enjoyable"

submission: DANCE!!
date: June 26, 2009

Graphics:
They were pretty basic looped animations but I think they looked pretty good and well suited. It was good to see a variety of styles even if they were all simplistic.

Sound:
My brother will play Lady Gaga nonstop, so if I like it or not I now the full lyrics to that song which is incredibly sad. But on topic the song was well suited and added to the effect and appeal of the collab.

Originality:
Although this was an idea that is incredibly basic idea it was also in a way clever and original. This idea turned out well and I couldn't help but say congrats to all of the people who helped with the collab.

Overall:
This was a short, quick loading minute of enjoyment that you can have a chuckle at and is a great collab.

How to use the search bar

"Nothing worth being excited about"

date: June 21, 2009

Graphics:
I can't really say that much about it, since most of your work were screenshots of Newgrounds, but it was smoothly animated, I guess.

Originality:
This movie was brief but to the point, it had a fair bit of humour and the joke was also to the point. I think that this wouldn't really prove any help to anyone but it just helps us insult the people who make terrible threads.

Sound:
The song was really good, but any rock song would've being suitable for this video. Nonetheless I think that this song was great and I can't help but be interested in the band.

Overall:
It was a medium movie, it was somewhat bland but it was a fairly great movie but you could do a lot better.

Cannon Defense

"Fun and innovative"

submission: Cannon Defense
date: May 7, 2009

Graphics:
The graphics were well done with a bleak feel to it with you focusing on the darker colours and shades. Everything that you had made in this game looked really professional and simply beautiful to look at.

Gameplay:
This game had a wide range of enemies and upgrades for the gun and your base. Since there were no set breaks, this gave the opportunity for the player to choose whenever he felt like pausing to get repair or upgrade whatever they felt like. The range of upgrades altered the way it worked with it sometimes having it's fair share of ups and downs because you would use your knowledge on how to use the weapon efficiently. The other base defenses were also very good and really helped destroy enemies and rake up some cash.

Sound:
The music for this game was well suited and helped add to the theme you were working with for this game. There were also spectacular sound effects that made the game feel real and alive.

Overall:
This game was a fun, original classic that had a wide range of enemies and options. I really enjoyed this game overall and will be hoping to be seeing a variety of games coming in the near future.

Spewer

"Eating vomit has never been so fun"

submission: Spewer
date: May 5, 2009

Graphics:
The graphics were done in a create cartoon style, with the scientist going in the background and occasionally checking up on you which really added charm to the game and you managed to present the game in a way that didn't make it seem disgusting to vomit and eat it up again, good work on the graphics.

Gameplay:
The gameplay on this was another fresh and innovative style that kept me entertained. These puzzles were really challenging and creative that kept me annoyed yet busy. This game also had a very good physics engine that made the game perform very well that was both fair and kept the mind going.

Sound:
The song in this game was very well suited for the game and attributed to the sciencey feel to the game and with the non to graphic vomiting sounds actually sounded pretty funny.

Originality:
I have never seen a game like this before, it took on your simple puzzle platformer and added a brand new and fresh twist to it with the whole liquid physics idea. You also managed to create a fun and original character that was cute but did such a weird and disgusting thing which was in a way ironic.

Overall:
You managed to bring me an addictive time consuming game with extraordinary ideas and fun powerups and it even comes with a level maker, what more could you want?

Thing-Thing Arena 3

"Another good addition to the series"

date: May 5, 2009

Graphics:
Like the Madness Combat series this game has in my opinion reached its peak in the style, with highly detailed guns, backgrounds and even from clothing to hairstyles everything in this game was done to a professional standard. Even if a lot of colours that were originally foreign to this game I still enjoyed it with the overall bleak colour scheme that made this game unique in the way of graphics.

Gameplay:
The gameplay has improved since the last one, from weapons to customization this game had it all. The weapons were unique, fun to use and brought more replay value to the game with new and bizarre guns like the arrow gun and the acid launcher. The character customization was also very good too, with all these customization options from head to toe I have really felt that I can make a character that is personal and mine. My only problem is that I'll miss the gun testing area, and the classic Zombie mode.

Sound:
Like all your games you managed to get a soundtrack that practically merged with the game and add feeling to the situation that you were in, I think you really gunned it well and really enjoyed it. The sound effects for the game were also really realistic with a variety of gun sounds and explosions, it can be obviously seen that the sound effects have gotten better and better with every game.

Originality:
You can add so many games to a series until it begins to be hard to add new ideas to your games but I think this took a huge leap for the Thing Thing series with new guns, customization options, and arenas. My most welcomed new feature is the option to reload and wield guns much better than your previous titles, and how you embraced the new Achievement system really well.

Overall:
This is proof that Thing Thing still has life in it. I really hope I see the next contribution to the Thing Thing story line, if it even has a fraction of these guns I would still have the feeling that its going to be fun and as violent as ever.

Heart (agj)

"Bleak and depressing"

submission: Heart (agj)
date: May 3, 2009

Graphics:
The pixel style was good and very nicely done. I also liked how you made very little show colour unless it was important or actually meant something. The colour scheme added to the whole theme of the game dramatically.

Gameplay:
The gameplay was incredibly simple and I don't see it as a game, but more as an interactive movie. But the way the game changed over time as it began to slope and fade into the darkness was a very interesting thing that helped lead to a very saddening game.

Sound:
The music was very well suited with it's bleak effect that played a major role in the theme. Like in your last game, Viewpoints the music gave off an effect that suited well with the situation.

Overall:
This was less of a game but more of a story that led a lot unknown without any reason or explanation being told and I enjoyed it even if it did bring me into a somewhat depressed mood.

Magnetic Defense

"Fun and Original"

submission: Magnetic Defense
date: May 3, 2009

Graphics:
The graphics were done to an exceptional point and they were really enjoyable to look at. They added a really good effect into the game and gave it that extra charm with it's fun style.

Gameplay:
This game had a very original and unique style of gameplay. Everything from the way you attack to the way you upgraded by sacrificing some of your own ammo. I think you have a very creative mind that can lead to great ideas and games like these ones.

Sound:
The song in this game was very fitting for this game and seemed to flow with the game very well. The sound effects were also at a higher quality than what you'll see in the average Flash, I can see you did a good job finding all the sounds.

Originality:
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first game of it's kind with the aspects of the gameplay. I have never experienced a game like this and I think that this could be the Portal of Flash gaming.

Overall:
This game was good in all fields with excellent sound, creative gameplay and stunning graphics. I don't know how this game could've been any better and hope to be seeing more from you soon.
